F29 Retal Game

I have F29 Retal old game on floppy, but need to know if it is possible to play this on my XP? Error message comes up and do I need to download something or is this even possible? Thanks:major

 

What exactly does the error message say (or what error code does it give)?

Which version of Windows was this game designed for? You can try running it in compatibility mode for that version of Windows. Find the executable file in the game folder and right click on that file. Then click the "compatibility" tab. Click/check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for..." and select the version of Windows that the program was designed for. Then click the "Apply" button down at the bottom, then click "OK". Then try running the game again.

Some games work fine in compatibility mode and others don't.

 

Yes you can play retal on XP. Just dont forget that you need to copy the game files into the Retal folder on drive C. It will not work in any other folder.
