this is software on my desktop/phone, I'm not sure if this goes here or anywhere

so I posted a pic on facebook, well within the TOS and i've posted it before

2 minutes later I get a message telling me my account has suspiecous activity and must confirm my identity, then sent a code to my phone

the code never came

I hit resend CODE

SLOW DOWN YOU ARE MOVING TOO FAST< YOU might get suspended was the message the came next on the FB site.

what the heck happened?(no code has ever come)

-so I went to gethuman and paid a $ 1 to have a slow conversation with someone who wanted my phone number, name and access to my computer or $49 to connect me with an expert to show me how to reset my phone
I kept saying none of these are the issue.

I think gethuman is a scam...so I left, put in a request with my bank to get my $1back, was sure to cancel any membership and was done with that "solution"...thanks google


Over the past few days, I've just been stuck in a circle with facebook
I only log in with my phone or my computer

so on the main fb.com page, I stroll over to reset password:
the give options:
-they'll send a code to my phone
-send a code to to my email

the code to the phone takes forever to happen..usually I will get a text,, within 1 minute to a few hours...so I'll choose email

within a minute, I have a 6 digit code from facebook...type it in the box faceboook gives me, then get told to MAKE A NEW PASSWORD

-I comply, make a new password and it's all good
and then I'm in.

...oh wait, no I'm not, I get the screen again

I can only hit CONTINE...I cant change to my email or change numbers

under the message it says
"Security Check"
-We sent a 6-digit code to (***) ***-*****(my number)

the code may or may not come and
BUT IF it does come and I use it I get told:
-"The security code you entered is incorrect or expired. Please try having the code sent to you again."

but the top right of the screen lets me "log out" and then I log back in via the NEW PASSWORD I made minutes ago and I am back to the "Security check" step


none of my friends can find me at all on facebook, it is as if my account is gone

so I went to CONFIRM MY IDENTITY WITH FACEBOOK

I get told
THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT DISABLED

ok so im at a loss, I dunno what to do...
any suggestions?

 

according to who?
gooogle tells me that is a scammers number and that facebook has no customer service
just help communities

I dont find any help at all as everything I find to get help from facebook requires being signed in

and most of that is useless becase I cannot log back in
and when i do log in, i am asked to do a secruity check which sends text to my phone which, when I get it(not always) it is invalid

and my friends cant find me on facebook, so I'm "gone"?

I wasnt sure how to respond..
the guy was insigtuating I was doing something wrong and his comment was negative and actustory at me, I was just brushing him off
I wish I had an answer as to what happened to my FB account...no idea,

 

Your not being honest with yourself, if you brush off.

Go back to the basics and start again, perhaps then you will see the light?

I cant see anything I am doing wrong,, I get told I need a secruity code, I rarely get it and when I do get it, I am either logged out of facebook or it wont work/expired
I can change my password because they send that code to my email and it is always sent fast. SO i change my password ,THEN i get the security check again

and see my sister's kids grow up

I wanted to get back on FB 10/10 a week ago, now I'm like 7/10,,,,soon it'll go down further...myspace? friendster? instagram? linkedin?

Usually i just get the screen to type in the secrutity code, which I dont get.....

I can change my password, and that text message with the code to change my password comes to my phone fast or my email if I choose that
just not the text to confirm IDentity or whatever

I will text 32665 and type OTP
to get a ONE TIME PASSWORD
but that never works when I get it?

I'm using the app most of the time
I did use my computer and the FB link when I got that message, but I also changed my password via that link and facebook sends me a email fast/instant and I am able to change my password... log in, only to get the SECRUTIY check point, then request a text to my phone, when it comes I dont get it. OR i text facebook, 32665, get a code and it wont work..phone or computer
can I write them a letter?

I can reset my password via FB.com link on my coputer
It will send a code to my email OR phone
I can use either code to log in enough to change my password

when I use the new password to log in, I Get the SECURITY CHECK again..and then a code is not forthg coming

 

so I'm back on FB 12 days of not being able to log in

I requested a new password/changed it via email
(--same as the above post)

then as soon as I changed it, I had to the SECURITY CONFIRMATION code, which doesnt always come and when it does come
it is invalid/expired
I did that, only this time, it worked


No idea why this happened or why I was able to log on again

first thing I did was estabish a few "trusted contacts"
