Facebook won't open

Hello, sorry if this question has already been asked before, new to this and was unable to find the relevant threat so thought would ask.
I am able to log into my account, but then a message appears saying "interent explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". This is the only website I am having problems with, all the others seem to be working.
Sorry for the bother, but does anyone has any sujjestions?
Willing to try anything!

Try using a different browser, Opera or Firefox perhaps.

Also, Facebook is a very dangerous site to explore, because it is so popular, it is also used to spread viruses and trojans, etc. through social engineering. You may already be infected, perhaps that's why IE 'breaks' when you login.
