Can we take a look at your client.cfg file?

Also, post any errors that you're recieving from the log file. It might be that your WU has been recalled improperly.

    Cheers :)

[16:57:49] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
    [16:57:49] (171.65.103.100:8080)

Go to the directory where the program is located (ex. C:/Program Files/Folding@Home) and right-click the file "client.cfg". Choose "Open With..." and open the file with Notepad or an equivalent Text editor. Copy the info you see and paste it here, like this:

You don't need to upload anything.

OK, I'm not very tech-savvy, but I'll help if I can. Hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along if we can't figure it out! :) My experience has been the FAH only tries to upload results when it's starting up, or right after it finishes a WU. One suggestion I read (can't remember where) was to exit the prog., wait a few minutes for the core to stop, then open it again, and see if it uploads then. Now, if yours was uploading results fine before, but not now, that may not help. Did you recently install any new app's? Or change a setting or config. somewhere, in any program, before this problem arose? Also, what firewall/antivirus/IP blocking software do you use? I had a problem when I first installed FAH with PeerGuardian blocking Stanford U. Since I fixed that, everything's been OK. And how many times have you tried uploading results, over how long a period? Not to sound dumb, but it's possible the server was down temporarily. If you happen to catch the prog. as it's "attempting to upload results" to the server, go to Start/Run and type "cmd" in the window that opens, then type "netstat" in the new window after that. You should then see a list of every port on your computer that's connected to the net. Look for port 8080, the one FAH uses. Is it connected, and does the IP match Stanford's range? Not sure what else I can suggest so far. Come back w/info if you're still having prob's.

I am in the same mess.
I have 8 boxes running full time in the last three days I have dropped off to zero production, I have sent three work units off as I sat and watched and none have registered.
I have gotten new units downloaded but nothing happens on the other side.
I have checked my settings and all are fine infact nothing has changed from the prior days when it all worked.
the 8 boxes are at two sites so it could not be connection nor could it be tampering.
I will give it two more days and I am pulling the plug, I don't mind doing it and everything infact I had just ordered new boaeds and all the goodies to creat a 5 unit farm.

PS Jokimoto, you need a team number of 12072 or all your points go in the kitty and not MajorGeeks

Gotta say I'm stumped. I haven't run FAH for the last couple days, since I'm downloading a boatload of crap on Azureus (huge resource hog), but last I ran it it worked fine. Uploaded my latest and gave me a new monster WU.
I'd suggest IM'ing fishy up there, as it seems no one smarter has been kind enough to help you out in the last week. Wish I knew what to tell ya.
Only other suggestion I can make is, if you can't reach goldfish, IM me and I'll start up the prog. and walk thru the same settings, see if we can find a difference btwn. mine and yours in either FAH or XP, since we seem to be running similar rigs.
Good luck, and tho I can't promise anything don't hesitate to call if you're unable to find anything out from goldfish or someone more knowledgeable.

    :)
