"Failed to connect" error with mozilla browsers

    All mozilla browsers are giving me a failed to connect error
    after a fresh install on a new computer with vista.
    Only have windows firewall and it's disabled. I've run the symantec removal tool to no avail

    I solved the problem. Running the Norton removal tool and rebooting did the trick.
