    No fair?
I haven't been to one in years. I've always wanted to go to the Mid State one, they always have an outstanding list of entertainers.
It's such a small town don't know where they put everyone. It's kind of a gateway to a couple lakes. We used to stop there to load the ice chests on the way to the lakes when my kids were small.

I'm not sure we have fairs in my area. Seriously. We have the Kimberton Fair, but I don't think that's a real fair. It's kinda half a fair. They do have farm animals though.

They've as long as I can remember from flyers had a great line up for their fair. Did not know they had a wine region, seems every place has one now days.
Paso was an area we thought of moving to, being they had cheap property like Bakersfield at one time. Last I looked never even got to the sales, rents were going for $1,600 a week, yep not month but week, insane!

PS just saw this Lodi, Ca. "Zinfandel Capital of the World" hum

Why yes, yes we are. :)

but I prefer to think of us as the "lucky charms" capital of the world, seeings how General Mills is here :-D

actually the wine region is just east of Paso Robles

    Did someone mention wine?

Zinfandel was the main varietal used in CA jug wines back in the day.:-D Thankfully, they have improved greatly. Paso Robles makes some nice wines.

Scorcer, ever heard of Isleton CA?

Actually I think the whole state is wine country. You can find a winery in every town and crops along the highways have turned to vineyards, more lucrative I suppose.

When I worked in CA years ago we went to Isleton. We pulled in tired from driving cross country and there was a big party going on with LA flags flying all over Islton. I have been to the crawfish festival...
