Fake Antivirus

Only about an hour and a half ago, my computer started lagging pretty bad, and I began getting messages on internet pages saying that "My computer may be under a system attack" and many other bogus claims like that. Usually, trying to get rid of them takes me to one of at least three pages of fake antivirus software such as "Trusted Antivirus" or "AntispiwareMaster", and all of them prompt me to install something to protect my computer. I also keep getting popups on my screen saying more fake things. One that in particular keeps popping up says:

"Windows Security Alert

Windows has detected an Internet attack attempt...
Somebody's trying to infect your pc with spyware or harmful viruses

(etc)"

And loads of other stuff.
I really have no idea how this got on my computer, and any help with removal would be greatly appreciated. As a side note, as soon as I noticed the disturbances, I immediately began running the Trend-Micro virus scan, but it seems to be running slower than usual.

Since for some reason I can't edit my post, I think I have to post another post. I realized that I had not posted the logs, so I began to follow the procedure. However, I am having trouble installing superantispyware. Could someone help me do that?
