Fake virus alert/Redirect/HiJacked! Help plz!

Gentlemen...Ladies...


Along with a ReDirect malware, I've also inherited 'Windows Antivirus Pro' ! (these people should be killed!) I can't open ANY programs at all..you've probably heard that symptom before. I can't open HJT for your perusal as well.

I do have simple directions that show me how to delete WinAntiPro...by deleting it and svchast.exe from the Task manager, but neither one of them appear there, so I went no further.

I would have run all the cleaning programs that I've downloaded in the past by now, but like HJT, I can open nothing.

I cannot open any programs at all...not in safe mode either. Clicking on a program brings up the "Open With" box.

I cannot open "Add or Remove Programs" in the control panel. It also brings up the 'open with' box. The 'antivirus' program asks me for money every now and again.

I'm really stuck!


I cannot open DDS or ANY other program! Not in Safe Mode either! The 'Open With' dialog box shows up ANY time I try to run a program! Is there a program I can actually 'Open it With??

I feel soo damn helpless. I can run email and I can run internet explorer (with constant reminder/pop-ups from that damn Windows Antivirus Pro!!!

What can I do?? Am I cooked completely?? I look forward to hearing from a "Major Geek"!
