Fake Windows Validation

Hi I too have a windows validation problem from downloading some video codec too. where I would get a Virus Alert on task bar and Virus Alert as my register to name. I can't run and can't get regedit it seems the same as other user in the forum "Lirpa" I have done the MGtool and hope that you can help me.

Still Having Problem

I have ran the "Read and Run Me" first and almost everything is fixed, but I have notice that from my IE it will not have graphics downloaded so I am sending you my attached logs for your review.

I've merged 2 of your 3 threads into one. Please come to this thread and click on the Post Reply button at the top of your thread. Do not keep using the button to create a new thread. In order to help you, we need all of your information in a single thread. This thread is called Fake Windows Validation. If you can't find your thread, do a search of the Malware Forum for your own name. You are still missing the logs for Combofix and for the MGTools. The logs for the MGTools are located directly under C:\ and are called MGlogs.zip. This is a single file which you need to upload using the Manage Attachments button. Upload the log for Combofix the same way.
