    Hey Guys.

I just had my doctors appointment, we had a fallout and now I am banned, all because I lost my meds and requesting replacements.

He checked out my bowel area, stating that I am extended, basically drink plenty of fluid, and hope for the best.

It is so hard to express my anger & frustration being in this predicament, I am currently awaiting a pain management clinic appointment, to see what can be done in regards to either getting off Endone, or have a final say whether it is appropriate for my pain management, However the doctor gave me one last final script just now to see me through until I can find another GP, which is going to be very difficult, because Darwin is so small, and most doctors cannot, or will not subscribe S8's! Due to addiction problems with some patients!

I personally want off it myself, but I need a pain management plan, I am very upset that I cannot go back and see my Dr, he is very nice and I thought very reasonable, I can see where he is coming from, but knowing me, he could have made an exception to the rule.

Last week on Friday he asked me if I had been going to other GP's to get any of my meds, especially S8's, I told him that other doctors have subscribed it, like the hospital doctors, he told me I cannot do that from now on, their can only be 1 doctor and 1 chemist to get it from, so yesterday when the hospital offered me a script I said NO, because of what my doctor said, but today he told me I should have taken in, I don't know if he is just in a bad mood or if I have done something to upset him, but he was really diffirent today.

The script he gave me I feel like taking it back to the doctors to prove that I am neither an addict, or alike, I use it for its intended purpose, pain relief!

I also had a lengthy chat with my pharmacist and he informed me that 4 of the 8 meds I am on cause constipation! just brilliant! So I bought some over the counter herbal senna thingy majigy to see how I go with that.

Now I have to find a GP that will take me on, the only good thing about this is I save 180$ a fortnight for 3 appointments each payday! just to get 1 script that cannot be repeated!

Hardly any bulk billing doctors around, need to find one, and asap!

Wish Me Luck, I can't seem to gain the upper hand here! I am reluctant to go to hospital as they won't sit up and take note until its either too late! :cry

I have seen a few different doctors in the past, some were good, others bad, but none really seemed sincere in understanding me and helping me like my doctor today, it's truly a hard one to recuperate from!

I`ll chase around tomorrow and see if one of my old doctors will take me back on, I highly doubt I am going to get anywhere in regards to a bulk billing doctor, and the old doctors I had ranged from $70 to $110, which means I am really going to have to find a job, I`ll just have to lie about my medical situation, because when I have applied at a position recently, as soon as they hear about the year I have had medically, their whole tone changes and they can't get me out of their office quick enough!

I was involved in a road accident some years ago and this resulted in having a number of metal parts fitted in my neck, back, shoulder and hips but i have now contracted a degenerative disease that is spreading throughout my body so i understand where you are coming from with the pain meds (mine are all morphine based).

If your doctor has been treating you for some time he surely would understand your needs regarding medication,If you have changed doctors several times they will naturally become suspicious about your need for more meds.

My doctor will give me repeat prescriptions but has on record my usage and if i step over the limit he calls me in for a medical and blood test.

I try not to take more than is absolutely necessary because i know it could get out of hand.

I wish you the best of luck finding a new doctor to take you on.

Ouch, not good at all, Endone is a morphine opiate as well, If I had no pain, then I can go without, it's trying to get my pain under proper management that is the current problem, I only just got a referral to the pain management clinic last week, which took me a rather long time to convince my GP that I needed one, and he eventually agreed, stating that their decision will be final.

But now he has black listed me, I don't know where to turn, or what to do! With my medical needs, as well as with all the wheels that I started to get turning with this GP, it's going to be rather hard to explain it to a new GP, and get them to take over!

Sorry to hear about your accident, I thought I was in pain, nothing compared to what you must be going through! :(
