False positive?

Hello wonderful Malware removers.

I did a scan with SAS and it pulled this up:

Trojan.Agent/Gen-Jorik
C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\IMAGENOMIC\UNINST.EXE
C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\IMAGENOMIC\PROFESSIONAL PLUGIN SUITE 1308 HOSTS SETUP.LNK
C:\PROGRAMDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\IMAGENOMIC\UNINSTALL PROFESSIONAL PLUGIN SUITE 1308.LNK


I think it's a false positive since Imagenomic is a plugin I use for Photoshop. I also used jotti's malware scan and it didn't pull up anything. All 3 of these files were installed at the same time I installed the software (which I've been using for a few years now).

I just want to get confirmation that I don't have any issues.

Hi Laura, those do indeed look to be false positives. Is your database up to date, and are you using the most up to date version of the software?

Actually, I had gotten an email regarding an update for the software about a month or so ago and hadn't done it yet.:-o I updated and ran another scan and it came up clean.

 

Nice! Reminds me... need to update my own... LOL
