Famous Nvidia Display Driver Install Problem Resolved!

Yes, here is the ultimate resolution for not being able to install nvidia video drivers
after getting an error "the parameter is incorrect" or the wizard keeps asking you
to reinstall the driver.
This applies to:
Geforce
TNT
Any other nvidia card you can think of...

You may also have problems with a constant exclamation mark infront of your
display adapter icon in the Device Manager. Other symptoms may include:
Code 10 device not properly configured

Open the registry editor: regedit
navigate to the key..

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak

Now right click on the key (looks like a little folder) NVTweak, go to permissions...
Tick the allow box for administrator, hit okay.
Now delete the NvTweak key and you should be able to install your graphics driver without
any problems!
