Fast Browser Search won't remove

Greetings,
Trying to sort out my friends laptop, she has been running it without anti virus for a while unwhittingly, (apologies), she downloaded that MyTatoo app from Facebook, she then had the following problems

1. An email sent to every facebook friend every time she opened internet explorer
2. Various constant pop ups in IE
3. Unable to open anti virus websites, eg norton, eset, Avg etc it says 'internet explorer cannot open webpage'
4. When searching on Google, a Fast Browser Search page opens up with your search and then inevitably won't let you access certain sites.
5. Also will not show hidden files and folders when the bullet option is selected, always reverts to 'don't show..

I have run the cleaning process and sorted out the pop ups etc but twhat remains is point 3 and 4 and 5.
