Fast PC, runs slow, no malware

Hi guys,

This is starting to bother me. I have a (i think) relatively fast PC. I run Skyrim on settings tweaked above Ultra, but it seems to be dragging lately.

Not sure where to start. Wanted to put in an SSD but I've never used one before, and I lack any sort of install CD for 7. I've heard that a fresh install on a SSD is best but i like my current configuration. There's a lot of options out there for software but I don't know what to use. Don't think video card runs hot. Just limps at startup pretty bad and lags sometimes while loading chunks in minecraft.

I don't think there's any malware as I scan regularly.

Download and run Advanced System Care, deep care mode. It will clean up the registry, defrag the hard drive and check the drive for errors.

If this doesn't help, re-post. Others may have different ideas to solve the problem.
