LOL, I have an obscure posting about my desktop and they use the javascript to send this junk.

Time to moderate even my family photos....

SpamAssassin is a beautiful thing to use!

 

Interesting.

My wife just started her own blog using blogger. Neither of us have done a blog before, so it was very interesting to see her getting comments only an hour or so after her intitial set up.

I could'nt believe the comments were actually SPAMMERS!!!

Christ, they're freakin EVERYWHERE!

I turned on the number verification and moderation to end the future spam.

 

Well, I hate spam too. I wrote my own blocking algorhythm to block suspicious comments, and now I've got a great little plugin called Akismet which is really great at blocking comment spam - since it connects to a central database and checks the comment against an always growing list of "spam" comments and updating algo's.

I like having the power to do that - thats why I like to use Wordpress

 

I just turn off comments. I don't want to hear other's opinions anyway
