    Hey.
I operate windows 7 64 bit and i have tryed allmost all browsers, but was very surpriced when i tryed Comodo Dragon/Comodo Ice Dragon and i believe that they are the ultimative browsers and absolutely the fastest(on my system).
should i mention nr 3 in the line it is deffently Pale moon latest version,Watefox is fast but not like the others at all,i used to love google chrome and i still do,i have the latest version on my system, but the interfase with chrome and comodo is allmost the same, google chrome will allways own a special place in my heart.
    Any oppinion will be appriciated:-o

I have been using Pale Moon for over a year now and find it a superb browser with the added advantage that all FF app will run on it.

Im on a Chrome fan too, I haven't tried many other browsers. I used to use IE, but noticed that on Win 7 64Bit it just kept taking memory, it used to go upto 500Mb, then I would have to close it. It was sites such as Google Maps that used to make it goes crazy with memory. Looking at Google search results this was fairly common with IE.

I use Comodo Dragon Portable (based on Chrome) as my backup browser and find it very fast.
All the Chrome add-ons I use work (AdBlock+, FlashBlock, Bookmark Search) and Site Inspector is handy but there are still some FireFox add-ons that are not available for Chrome and they probably never will be (by the original author) so FireFox is still my default and favorite.

Comodo IceDragon Portable (based on FireFox) will be available in the next release so I will try that and if I like it I will probably delete FireFox and fully install Comodo IceDragon as my default browser.

I second the Pale Moon suggestion. I've been using it for a couple of years or so and it works great for me.

Opera has always been a top contender for speed.
My machine is not very fast, AMD Sempron 2.0 Ghz with 1.5 GB, and I get noticeably better performance from Opera.
It has features that are only available as add-ons in other browsers, so I have only a few Extensions installed.

Two others are mostly of interest to web designers.

    Opera - Download Options

I have both Firefox and Pale Moon and keep them up to date.
I also have K-Meleon for when I need a fast loading browser to do some task quickly.

Some people don't like Opera's interface, although I don't know why.
I find it to be simpler that Firefox / Pale Moon.

Pale Moon 15.1 onwards now requires Service Pack 3 (SP3) with Windows XP
Pale Moon is for Windows Only and only runs with later generation processors.

I tried Google Chrome some time ago and it was too minimalist for me.

Here's another Pale Moon user although Firefox is my default. It's always best to have the latest version of a browser due to security fixes. There are extensions available (to replace some Google stuff in Firefox and Pale Moon) that were developed after Google stopped updating the Google Toolbar for Firefox. No surprise since Google has its own browser.

Latest version of Pale Moon, released 2 days ago which can be updated via Help>About... http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1439

Use Firefox (15.0.1) as default with QuickJava Security Extension, and do the about:config thing for every install...Never trusted Chrome (sorry googoo), would rather use Opera or K-Meleon.

I use FF, have for years.
Was thinking of trying Pale moon, but a bit hesitant. Can I import my bookmarks, etc from FF into Pale Moon, I think yeah, but still.

I've been trying out SRWare Iron, also based on Chrome, and I really like it. Loads fast and even has a snappier feel to it.

I like the way Opera performs on the old Pentium 4 on which I run Windows 7. But, I have experienced spells where I temporarily switched from Opera to Firefox and then back to Opera because a particular version (of both Opera and FF) seemed slower than the previous version and then this issue would be resolved when a later version was issued.
