fat32 to ntfs

ok first of all hi,

is it possiblbe to convert a fat32 drive to ntfs with out having to format the drive.

 

In win XP: open up a command prompt and type 'convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs' without quotes and press enter.

 

will doing this remove all my programs and folders though

thank you for the help tim it didnt say wether running it through cammand prompt would erase my c drive though it only said set up would keep them

you sont know how long it takes do you?

 

Converts quite fast, it depends on how full your disk is. Note that a lot of small files take longer to convert than a few large files.
