Corn Flakes with apple juice, and I mean real apple juice, not the fake crap one sees advertised.

 

Frosties (big bowl) with loads of milk, then 2 banana sandwiches, cup of coffee and a chocolate biscuit. :drool

 

Shreddies. No contest. With milk and sugar. The best part is how the milk tastes after the Shreddies are eaten.

 

Frosted Shredded Mini-Wheats and milk or Oatmeal w/ Peanut Butter and Honey added.

Typical Aussie breakfast for me (doh).

4 x Weetbix (how many do you do? --Aussie joke), topped with a sprinkle of Kellogg's Special K (or =). a chopped up banana, cold milk and no sugar. A cup of Tea also, occasionally. Bazza

 

Never heard of your "Cap'n..."

Personally, I'm into muesli 2-3 times a week topped with fruit and soy milk...else it's throwing a 4-5 different fruits into the blender topped with soy milk for a yummie smoothie while I continue getting ready in the morning before hitting the shower.

With overnight visitors, breakfast can be anything depending on tastes like French Toast; paper thin pancakes (like crepe suzettes) lightly filled with honey or jam served with fruit; bacon, tomato & eggs served with toasted soy & Linseed bread washed down with cuppa tea (@ Kestrel...Earl Grey with a little Honey is my favourite!)

 

Sweeten to your own taste...I usually have a teaspoon...yum.

 

Grape-Nuts. My Grandma used to give them to me when I was small. The boxes back then had the little metal pour spout on the side. I still eat them, and buy them four boxes at a time when Walgreen's (US drugstore chain) puts them on sale at $2 a 24 oz. box. I was eating some one morning a few years ago, and said, "Why 'Grape-Nuts'?" The internet being a wonderful thing, I searched and found a web page which asserted that, when it was first concocted, the size and texture of the cereal was reminiscent of a type of war-time shrapnel commonly referred to as"grape nuts". (Here, Billy, now eat your shrapnel...)

My favorite... sugar smacks (supermarket brand of course LOL) with 2% milk, I can eat that anytime of the day!

 

Raisin Bran...don't care who makes it and what type of milk - non-fat or soy.
