On topic: My favourite game of all time is definitely Mafia. Fantastic story, great driving, and some amazing levels. The only game that I've gone through and completed twice, and will probably do it again over the Christmas period as well.

Hi im new here and i came apon this thread. My favorite game of all time wow, that is difficult.

1: System Shock 2 (always wanted to play the first one but never got to)
2:Thief 1 (i hate the undead)
3:Shining Force 2
4:Lunar 2 (sega cd not ps remake)
5:Gunstar Heroes
6:Final Fantasy 6
7: Castlevania:Symphony of the night (woulda tied for first but i have been playing system shock 2 this week)
8hantasy Star 4 (i HATE, no DESPISE Lasheic)
9:Tales of Phantasia (the snes version)
and last but not least
10:Command and Conquer : Red Alert 2

 

I cant wait for this to come out, Im almost done with FFVII so it will be fresh in my mind when I see it

 

For sports games, EA's NHL franchise is always a time-guzzler. NHL 2004 is it for me right now.

Otherwise, I would have to say the Thief series. Thief 2, especially. Great games, with such a different style and look. They were so immersive and fun... whenever I would come home at night, especially if it was foggy, and I could see the huge cathedral across the street...

After seeing that there's an official Thief 3 coming out soon... that may force me to buy a new upgrade kit or an xBox!

 

Quake 2 with Total Annilation come in a close second

i still play Quake 2 but my computer doesnt like Total A it lags bad might be cause i have all the extra units
