Favorite vacation or fantasy tour

The Big Island in Hawaii-----vacation

Fantasy tour Japan, New Zeland, down under and scuba and snorkle the barrier reef!

 

Fantasy tour to the Moon, with all my friends here at MajorGeeks........wobbles

 

Ended up once in Keflavik, Iceland by mistake....bought terrific sweater.

Always wanted to see Machu Pichu in Peru in person, but it's so darn high up..

 

I was gonna say Hawaii, but I think I'm with Wobbles on this one

 

I`ve been all over...Japan, Korea, Thailand, Phillipines, Australia, Hawaii...but by far my favorite place was Ketchikan, Alaska

 

Any chance you visited the rainbird in Ketchikan?

 

I may have...but it`s been 24 years since my last visit

 

I'm curious, your very well traveled. What impressed you with Southeast Alaska. Did you ever see Sitka or Juneau if this is to personal I understand.

 

Moscow, it has become a bit of an obsession I love snow,I love the culture,the buildings,the ruskies accent.--

Ok OK I wanna go over there and pretent I'm Bond on a secret goverment mission to locate the launch codes.

 

What impressed me the most I think is just the stunning beauty of the place...and the beautiful weather while I was there. Skeeters the size of helicopters were impressive too. I never saw Juneau...but did manage a trip to Anchorage with a friend that lived there.

 

In this order: Ireland/Scotland, Germany, New Zealand, Idaho. Why Idaho? I've only seen snapshots and videos of the country side, but I'd love to see it for myself. I'm a sucker for a nice landscape.

It's my (very lofty) goal to spend the last years of my life sailing around the world. Obviously, I would make it around more than once, but there's more than one path you can take to sail around the world.
