Recently, I had to reformat my hard drive - now I cannot use my fax. In device driver, the modem does not show a problem. The modem is a U.S. Robotics 56k Fax PCI and my OS is WinXP Pro. I went to: http://www.usr.com/support/product-template.asp?prod=5699b
and updated the driver with what I hope is the right one, but I still cannot send a fax - I get an error message. Can anyone help?

Sorry, I forgot to say that I have a modem drivers files CD and I am afraid to use it. I am not sure it actually goes to my current fax modem. It is: Software & Document Modem Drivers Files Vers 1.10. Bitware for Windows: The Communicator 56\Comm56\Driver. BUT it stated that the CD supports Windows 95 auto-run feature. AND states: Run "X:\SETUP 95" to Install Bundled Software. NOWHERE does it mention my OS (Win XP Pro) and NOWHERE does it mention U.S. Robotics (maker of my fax modem). I am not sure what to do.
