Faxing Issue

I have a Brother intellefax 2820 and it is printing out the pages in the middle of the transmission? I get a fax from work. Today it was 24 pages. They started to print out, then when it got to page 14, it printed a partial page. Then my fax rings again and its the same fax starting all over. It did this at least 3 times the other day with the same fax. It never did come through completed. So would any of you have any idea on why this is happening?

Has it done it with faxes coming from other places as well or just from work? If your just getting faxes from work and its doing that i would get someone else to fax me about 20 pages and see if it does it then.

Is it consistently with page 14? Maybe there is some kind of hangup timeout or something.

Can you fax to your work 20 pages or is it just receiving that has the problem?


Im really not that familiar with fax machines but ill see if i can find an online manual for your brother and check it out.

 

Well i quickly looked at the manual and didnt see anything that may be causing it but i could have missed something. it said the memory can hold around 500 pages so that shouldnt be the problem unless the memory is bad but i dont know how you would check that so for now we will assume its good.
