FBI moneypack removal

    I ran FRST.exe, now I need a fixlist and instructions

    NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

    Attached is fixlist.txt
    • Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.

    Now re-enter System Recovery Options.
    Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).

    Thank you for the response. I was able to execute a Restore to two days before the malware self-installed. Do I still need the fix you suggested? If Moneypak is still in the system, can I manually delete it? Why didn't Total Defense prevent the malware--maybe I need help configuring Total Defense. Thank you again. I look forward to your response

    Might be a good idea to run FRST again (just a scan) and attach log.

    Then if things still feel 'ropy' you can follow these instructions for peace of mind. Check if anything else lingers... READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
