FBI moneypack virus

Once again I have to commend this site for allowing me to have access to malware bytes as I got infected with the FBI moneypack scam which locks your computer and turns on your camera.I cannot express my gratitude to this site,as when the infection occured I immediately went to my other machine and searched for solutions.The methods were all over the place from going into your registry to other procedures that were poorly described and would be very very difficult for novices such as myself to follow.I simply rebooted into safemode with networking and went to majorgeeks.com /downloaded malwarebytes , ran it and it found the malware/virus and removed it.I am running windows 7 home premium on a Dell optiplex (clamshell) style.If the gentlemen who operate this FANTASTIC site wish to post this ...well thats great and I hope it will help anyone else who may come across this virus.Majorgeeks has helped me more times than I can remember and I am indebted to them for being so unselfish and if I can ever help them in any way I will.
