The FCC is changing its stance on net neutrality AFAIK, allowing ISPs to charge heavy traffic providers like Netflix.
Sounds like FCC is protecting the ISP "right to lie". I am paying for "25Mb/sec, no limits". Until I download from one of their chosen competitors - then I still have to pay but the chosen competitor has to pay as well.
There is something basically wrong with charging me for the bandwidth and also charging their competitor for the same bandwidth.

The problem with the FCC is that the courts have been limiting their powers when it comes to this stuff. More and more, they become a figure head over time.

I think we should be more focused on paying our fair share, Unc Sugar knows what is best for us. :-D

Problem is those paying their fair share don't get a cut of the same pie just get to pickup the bill!

Its all a sham anyway. Google has shown just how much ISPs overcharge.

Would comment further, but would most likely be HBT. :-D

ISP's don't overcharge, they have all those searches to do for FBI, NSA and the other government agencies with general warrants. Someone has to pay for our surveillance.
