Fedora Resolution

    I am having some trouble with Fedora 6.I do not know how to get into the root console from when it boots up.I need to change the screen resolution so i can see the GUI.Any help is much needed!

    If you can't get into the GUI, you must be in console/text mode already

    Type
    Code:
    su
    and then supply your root password

    Assuming you've done that, then you need the command
    Code:
    xorgconfig 
    I have to wonder why you're using such an old version though - Fedora 9 is currently the latest version, and there are many other 'distros' out there that support older hardware, if that's why you're trying to use Fedora 6

    I can only get into the grub..I dont know how to get to the console.Thats all i need is how to get into the console
