Feed issue in Windows Live Mail

I have a bit of a strange issue with a feed I subscribed to using WLM.

Background story is that my AV (Comodo Internet Security) kept flashing up a warning that a malicious file had been detected (Malware@#1vdnb4mdin24). I quarantined the file but the warning kept on coming, even when I was only editing some images in Lightroom - no browser or email open.

I took note of the location of the file, and found that it was in the Temporary Internet Files folder. Now, these feeds are downloaded into WLM, not IE (and I use Firefox as my browser anyway). So obviously the file is downloaded when the feeds download.

I did discover that the website providing the feed (a photography site that I had been subscribed to for some time) had an issue and was down for a while. I contacted the owner via Facebook and he wasn't sure what the problem was but said his hosting company was sorting it out.

Anyway, I immediately deleted that particular feed, but the warning message kept appearing, presumably when my remaining feeds download. On checking the TIF folder, I find the file has always reappeared, and under the Type column it's indicated as an 'MS-DOS Application' file. This keeps happening even though I no longer subscribe to that feed, and only this one file from that site keeps coming back. I have to go into the TIF folder and delete the file each time my feeds have downloaded, otherwise the warning message reappears.

My remaining feeds are fine, and only download the normal text, cookie and image files, so I don't know why this one MS-DOS Application file keeps appearing.

I would like to know how I can stop this file coming, if possible. It's becoming quite tiresome having to delete the file or clear out TIF files every day.
