Feeling sorry for myself

OK it's time for all geeks to have a laugh.
I am almost 62 years old/young and have been having serious pain week and feeling very sorry for myself, for the first time in my life i fell out of bed (or was i pushed) fortunately it is a divan and only about 12 to 14 inches high but it still Bl###y hurt roflmao
As many of you know i have a lot of metal bits inside and need to be really careful about what i do or suffer the consequences,now the pain is receding a bit i can laugh about it but at the time i was a bit scared and another laughable part is my wife had to untangle me from the sheets so i could get back into bed.
It took her a few minutes to realize i had left comforts of her warm backside to the cold hard floor.

Sorry for your soreness. I can empathize. Having broken 3 ribs 10 weeks ago now, I still hurt when I turn over in bed. Coughing smarts and sneezing really dings me. Take it real easy today and you will gradually hurt less.
Fun getting old, isn't it?

 

nothing to be ashamed of. i fall out of bed all the time. and i think i need another operation because i screwed up my metal bits!

 

Oh, so sorry to hear Bill. Glad you're on the mend. I once fell out of the top bunk my first night at a boarding school when 13. To this day, I never move unless I'm awake, where I fall asleep is where I wake up.

 

Glad you weren't hurt Bill, other than your pride, of course:-o However, there is a good side to this if you think about it....you didn't land on the cat!:-D Glad you're feeling better Bill

What a shock that must have been, sound asleep then the floor hits you, dang must have hurt, glad nothing was jarred loose. Feel better.

 

It’ll ease off Bill, and then you’ll be able to find that comfy position again.
Most nights I find my comfy spot when I snuggle in to bum island, trouble is the islands getting bigger and bigger.

 

I had mixed emotions as I read what happened to you. I was sorry it happened, but then chuckled at the image of you all tangled up in those sheets.
