Ok, here it is. Does anyone know about total AV as a virus protection. Right now i am running malwarebytes alongside my windows defender. I have windows 10 pro. I've alwAys been good running the way i have. A Lot of people don't know about all the improvements in Defender. It's totally revamped and actually runs very nice now. I didn't like it or use it either a few years back but was happy to try it again and its working great, especially alongside with Malwarebytes. Tell me, what do my fellow geeks think about this topic. I'd appreciate some feedback from my favorite site!

I use ESET NOD 32 Antivirus on my four main systems as well as my two laptops and two home theatre pcs. I have used NOD since about late 1999 or early 2000 when my then local computer shop gave me a free copy to evaluate which I subsequently bought. Now I have a site licence for 10 copies and still very happy with the performance.
Seems to work well without slowing down the computer and I've never had any problems with viral attacks......touch wood

BTW I also run MBAM and Spybot Search & Destroy and CC Cleaner every so often to clean out any crap that might be lingering.

You know that's what I like about malwarebytes. I can't even tell that its running. The way I see it is, if its not broken why mess with it. Right? I appreciate your response. Have a great day

I don't like or trust most anti-virus software due to many many reasons i don't want to get into.

I really only use a hand full that i know works correctly.

But what most people don't understand is There is a lot of False advertisement with total AV.

I hear you on your many reasons. I feel you there. Me too. See that's what I was thinking that Total AV is overhyped. Heck, I've been using Malwarebytes and defender and have never had a problem. By chance your first name wouldn't be Dean? And you don't need to tell me on here. The only reason I say that is because I used to work for a guy that went by Wile e coyote, but then again, the world were living in there's a coyot at every bend. Hey, I appreciate the shout out. Have a great day

No your right. I didn't and that was foolish of me because I also use windows defender alongside malwarebytes. As a matter of fact, how do you like the improvements in defender. I can't get anyone to use it because of its past. I tell them that it's completely redone and much much better. In fact, ill bet you, could run it alone and never have an issue? Go....
