ff going insane

ff has been acting wierd lately, all my icons seem to have gotten a bit bigger, also when I submit a post it says it isn't encrypted are yous ure you want to submit blahblahblah and it seems really twitchy a buggy. was thier a ff update or something? the only extensions I have are fasterfox and noscript.

 

What version are you running? I have 1.5.0.1 at work and not had any of those problems. I just uninstalled noscript...was annoying the pants off me.

 

Hi Splitt3r. Posts are not encrypted. You can tell it to stop notifying you, but it's just a little security measure so that you don't accidently send information that should be sent securely.

Have you downloaded any new programs lately? If so you can uninstall 1 at a time to see if any of them are causing the problem.

But I haven't gotten an update, and FF isn't acting weird for me.

And run spybot, adaware, antivirus, ewido.

 

This link describes how to back up your firefox profiles. You could backup your profiles uninstall firefox, reinstall firefox and restore your profile. This is a useful procedure to know, even if it is not the solution for this problem.
