I'm helping a friend upgrade from W2k to XP-SP2. need to save files and settings. Is there an equivalent FSTW available in w2k?? If not what do we do??

I'm only doing this from memory, so bear with me,

Use your Windows XP CD, and when the autoplay menu appears, select perform additional tasks, then Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.

That will allow you to save your current Windows 2000 settings to a floppy or folder etc.

Then when XP is installed, it should just be a simple matter of transferring these settings back.
