I use FILE CLEANER.I do not know if this is a problem or not.Whenever I clean the C drive(using the Shred Free Disk Space option),after several hours,It will show 100% cleaned.Yet,hours later it is still cleaning.I have to stop the program manually to shut it off or it will continually run.In D drive cleaning, there is no problem. It shows cleaning complete at 100% and is finished.I primarily use Gutmann wipe/35 times for both drives.
    Any assistance appreciated.Thank You.

Thank you for your lightening reply. I do use CC cleaner.Problem is: after rechecking-more files are back, inc new ones in same folder with different numbers/codes.Same file but overwritten with new alphabetical ID.I had to repost this message on the software forum with corrected info.SORRY.The program I am using is File Shredder and the shred free disk space option.Even on one pass on C drive,100% shows and it will not shut off.

If you are getting files with random numbers in folders that keep reappearing you should go to the Malware Removal Forum and post your logs after looking at this stick post. Can you give an example of some of the file names and extensions?

Finally got to doing your advice.1 trojan and (2) registry errors (same ones HJT picked up,but were reloading every reboot). As usual, learned a lot, like my OCD Gutmann overkill! Plus: MUST stop recovery on all drives, then reboot and startup with new cleaned recovery point.Critical. OK-running clean.Hopefully will stay that way (it tends to for months at a time, then I pick up 'something',usually from ebay).BUT,know where to 100% turn to for pro advice.THANK YOU ALL!Yes,you do rock!

Glad you got everything sorted and thanks for the feedback. You might want to consider setting up a limited user account and using that when surfing the internet. Not 100% but it does help.
