File Converting

Hi y'all

Does anyone out there have a clue as to how to convert .mobi (kindle) files to a more useful format such as TXT, UMD, PDB, CHM or PDF ?

Just tried the autokindle app and unfortunately it only converts to .mobi.

Any ideas anyone?

Edit: I do not think this will remove the DRM on the file if there is one. If you own the title and want to remove the DRM, you can try software that will remove it. Just Google.

Been busy searching myself.......may have to download one converter to convert MOBI to HTML and another to convert HTML to TXT or PDB or PDF

Found an on-line site that converts mobi to txt or pdm (Zamzar conversions)

Will give it a go and report back

Prefer to have the software to do it myself though

Just to let everyone know that I've found a p[iece of software called calibre-e.book management...........itconverts mobi files to more usable formats. It's free (with support)
