File Name Randomizer

    Ok folks, I have an odd challenge.

    My sisters and I bought my parents a Kodak digital photo frame for Christmas. I have about 240 pics (digitals and scans) that I want to play randomly in the slideshow. They seem to play in order off the SD card. I cannot find anyway to randomize them on the frame player, so I guess I need to rename all of the pics with a random number.

    Does anyone know of a program that would do this for me easily?

    From what I'm reading at epinions, "inability to randomize display sequence".
    If you give the exact model number, I can check if your model does, indeed, have the randomize feature.

    I found my answer. File Renamer - Basic has an option to give the files a random number name. Then, when I sort by file name and put the files on the card for the frame, the pics will be random. The same sequence will repeat, of course, but at least they are shuffled.

    It will work.
