I did a system restore and lost some World of Warcraft patches. 4.0 and on.:cry

Since I have dial up it will be almost impossible to re-Dl them.

Is there any way I can get those files back? The game and older patches are still there....

Windows might have relocated them. Try doing a search for those files. If you cannot find them and just did the system restore, there should be an option to undo it. Then save those files and do the system restore again.

If you used a previous windows restore point when you said, "I did a system restore", then simply undo the restore point and go back to today's date.

I have tried several restore points. None of them are working. It always says that it was unable to restore.

Did you try searching for the files? You do not want to do another system restore. What you want to do is undo the one you did first. In system restore there should be a button asking if you want to undo your last system restore.
