file systems

    will my flash drive work better if it uses the same file system as my hard drive, my hard drive is nfts and my flash drive is fat32, thanks for your time

    in reply to my own thread, my flash drive does work a lot better if i use the same file system as my hard drive(ntfs)

    What are you terming "works better"?

    I have at least a dozen flash drives and Flash Memory cards and they are all formatted FAT-32. That allows them to be used on virtually any PC.
    NTFS seriously limits their use to Windows.

    i only know 3 people with computers and they all run windows 7, also my flash drives work much faster using the ntfs system

    Hi,

    Flash Drive with NTFS will work more efficiently not because it is same as Hard Drive but because NTFS is more efficient.
