file that won't delete

    i have this file in my shared foler of Ares that doesn't want to go away. everytime i try to delete it, i keep getting the msg that the file is in use.
    i've tried closing down ares, and all other programs i have running, but i still keep getting the msg.
    anybody have any suggestions?

    thanks so much for the help guys...but neither safe mode startup nor Unlocker worked :S

    eek.

    any other suggestions? (u guys are the best)

    ares is p2p. get rid of it...

    to delete the file go and download a good fileshredder. I have used Privacy Eraser Pro, it has an awsome file shredder. even deletes programs that are currently in use. on reboot they are gone. :) its got a 30day trial i believe.

    oh, ares is gone, that's for sure.

    i fiddled with Unlocker for a bit, and it got it when i rebooted. YAY!
