filepaths missing after using malwarebytes for antispyware 2010

    my mother's computer starting getting prompted to scan and buy pc antispyware 2010. upon further research i DL'd malwarebytes antimalware and removed the rogue via safe mode. however, upon restarting in normal mode i was unable to open any programs, i kept getting prompted to find the file extensions on the computer even after finding them, the prompt kept showing up. please help!
