Files becoming 0kb

We are experiencing a major problem and can not seem to figure out the cause.

Files in a specific folder that is only accessed as a network drive by one group are all turning into 0kb files. These files range from MS office files, to PDF's, jpeg's, and cad drawings. I began looking around the volume that this folder set is on and no other folders on this volume used by other groups is being affected. We were using a program called Camino Soft to migrate data of a certain age and modified date to another location to conserve server space and we have turned this off to rule it out. The number of files that are 0kb grows on a daily basis, files that were fine yesterday are 0kb today.

Other groups have folders on this same volume and are unaffected by this issue.

Does any one have any ideas as to what may be causing this to happen? We have been trying to solve this for over a week now and can not seem to find the answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    James
