   Can anyone help me? I have just done a scan with hijack this and found a load of files with (file missing) at the end. i have looked in system 32 and found that the files are there. i have just upgraded from vista to win7 and when i did the scan in vista i never got (file missing) in the results.

   Lines that give a file name and say (file missing) are frequently not missing. It is a bug in HijackThis. They may or may not really be missing. (In your case they are not missing)
