Final Fantasy VIII

    I installed FF* on my pc and have followed the instructions to the letter the game is supposed to be a complete install so I do not need the disc's in order to play, when I try to start a game the disc reader messes up no matter what.....at wits end

    so could you clarify how the disc reader is messing up?

    you said that you didnt need a disc in to play, so what do you mean by "disc reader"?

    im assuming you're talking about the CD drive...but please clarify

    also, could you give some system specs? such as operating system, etc
