Finally drug into the 21st century.

Well, I finally did it. After all my rants and raves about people with cell phones... I got one. :-D Getting a nice annoying ringtone, a strange looking wallpaper, gonna crank up the volume and wander arount with it having meaningless conversations. Oh yeah, texting. Got to learn how to do that.

Had a cell phone back in the '90s, they certainly have changed. QWERTY keyboard, plays video, takes pictures. I am having fun with my new toy. Picked up a Motorola i465 today. but, I won't use mine while driving or in stores (unless info is needed about what item I need.) Need to figure out how to post in here from the phone...

Congrats, Fred, sounds like you got one of those fancy ones! I took the plunge this Spring, and bought a trac-phone... It has a browser and camera too, but I haven't messed with either of them, I wanted it for the phone service for emergencies..... I didn't do ring-tones either, so you will have to tell us what you end up with :-D Heck if I was to mess that up, good grief, where would I get help with it? LOL Congrats on your new toy! Mine is always in my purse, and only comes out if and when I need it, and not while driving....

Thanks for the link Laura. Have to figure out the ringtones one day. Got the cell because my cordless phone was dying, and when I cancell my local phone service, I will only be paying $10 per month more, and I get the interweb, unlimited calls, and free long distance... :-D
