Finding Drivers For A Samsung Tablet Pc

Last week a client brought in a Samsung XE500T1C tablet PC (Intel Atom, 64GB eMMC, Windows 8) that was choking to death on viruses and malware. It was to the point I couldn't even get cleaning programs such as Malwarebytes to load or get the Samsung restore mode to work.

I finally tricked it first into safe mode then advanced restore mode, wiped the drive and installed Windows 10.

Now I can't find drivers I need to finish it. Device Manager can't find them and neither can IObit Driver Booster. Samsung's website doesn't have a driver download section or an option to get OEM restore media. Googling the problem only gives me a list of shady web sites. Even if I could get Windows 8, I doubt Device Manager could find the drivers for it either.

Does anyone know of a legitimate site that may have these drivers or know of a program that will find and install them properly? I'd prefer freeware or trial ware but don't mind paying a reasonable amount so long as I get a money back guarantee if it fails.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are 12 different models of XE500T1C. I'll search but only after I know exactly which model your customer owns.
    A01CA, A01US, A02CA, A02US, A03US, A04US, A05US, A06US, HA1US, HA2US, K01US, K02US
I suspect it is one of the 10 US models. Make that one of 9 models. And it probably wasn't the a05US or the a05US model. So we're down to 7 models it might be.

Also having only a 64GB hd and Windows 10 probably means every 6 months a clean install will have to be performed because of such little storage.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This worked. What confused me at first is that the only option listed was "download software." I'm used to HP, Dell, etc. where the website provides specific choices of individual driver downloads versus the generic method used by Samsung in this case.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Between work and studying for my A+ exam I've hardly had time for anything else. BTW, I passed part one of the A+ today with a score of 773. :)

That's okay. Life interferes with what we really want to do.
At least you now have a working link to download your drivers.
Hint: archive the drivers on a USB stick so if you need any again, you don't have to do another search.

I have model xe500t1c-ha1us and also need drivers to repair it. I have clicked on the link for it above but the link say no longer there. Can you point me in the direction for the drivers? I have tried several different ones and got it to load up but I am still missing several drivers and unable to find them. Any help would be appreciated.

    I also got here https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083923/
clicked on update device drivers and clicked the hot link to Download Center which leads to another loop.

The only drivers I can seem to find are 3rd party sites.
Use at your own risk! One site is in a foreign language and malwarebytes blocked another. I've now had several sites blocked.

    Here's a possible solution

I think that's the best I'm able to do.
