finding firewall

    Hi. I am sorry if this is in the wrong place.
    I have been trying to get into Limewire which I have done many times before. Now it says there is a firewall blocking.
    We turned off the windows one and the EZarmor one on the desktop. How do I know if there are more firewalls on here that we dont know about? I know you don't need more than one and we are trying to sort this out.

    Okay - I am still working on this. But I cannot find Zone alarm anywhere on my computer. How do I find it?

    Try searching for zlclient.exe, I haven't identified other .exes associated with ZoneAlarm or the Suites, sofar, as I don't use it.

    Also try using CCleaner's Tools/ to see if any .exes are listed and then use its registry tool to clean up.(scan & fix issues)

    CCleaner Slim 2.06.567

    Or use Revo Uninstaller 1.50

    *Check with Revo's Uninstaller function and then it's Tools/Junk Files Cleaner/Scan to search your machine for orphan file remnants.

    Hi. This is an old post but same problem. I am trying to turn off firewalls - I turned off Windows, and have the avira - it says deactivated, but when I do link you provided it shows several avira still detected. Why?
