Finished Malware Removal and need more help...

    I have done all of the steps in the malware removal section, but I have no idea what is going on at this point (I'm about as technical as a pencil). My virus program is telling me that I have Trojan.ByteVerify on my computer and it tells me it fixed it, but when I reboot it tells me I have it and it fixed it...and that cycle continues. Also, a window flashes on my screen for a split second avery 20 seconds or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I could not get bitdefender to work, but I have the other logs. I tried to follow the instructions for HijackThis, but when the file downloaded it was already unzipped and wouldn't let me extract...hopefully it is right...

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    You are missing other logs that were requested (I'm excluding BitDefender which you said you could not run)
    • CounterSpy - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
    • Panda Scan - from step 6
    You need to rename HijackThis.exe as requested in the READ ME. Then attach a new log.
