That's all man? I just spent a grand for 10 16" cords of maple. I know it's warmer there but one cord lasts you? Almost seems a shame to burn that wood, just like maple too but I guess you guys have a lot of it.

What do you mean Augie?Price or quanity. What is in my truck is 60 cu ft and a 1/2 cord is 64cu ft.Its selling for $190 a cord plus $20 minimum delivery fee to $225 a cord which is mixed green and dry. This is from our property where we fall the Madrone so the fir(18 to 36 inch tree butts) can prosper and grow.It is by far the best firewood we have as far as a hard wood.Splits really easy when its green. We also have lots of Oak and a little bit of Maple, which is also a great firewood.Oh yeah Aug,I burn natural gas to heat my home. This is for sale.

Wow, $190 a cord!:eek I wonder how it compares to maple for BTU's? Our cords are 4'X8'X16" = 42.56 CF for $100 delivered but in quantity. So for half of one of your cords it would be ~$150, split and cured. Not too far off then, In Montreal, it's 32 CF for about $150.

our cords are 4x4x8ft = 128 cubic feet.Goes from $190 to $225 per cord.Maple and Madrone IMHO burn about the same as far as heat and length of burn, depending on how dry it is.Madrone will even burn when its green and you have a good fire to put it on top of. Madrone and Maple

Huh? With me working at a joinery company, we got all the wood we wanted. Sapele, it burns like coal, gives a tremendous amount of heat out and doesn't spark. And best of all, I got it for free. Then we moved into the town and we now use gas. I miss my open fire!!!! :cry

Oh, JOTS! Just think of how much more time you will have, not having to cut firewood.... Yeah, makes for more "fun time".....:p

@augiedoggie, your cords are a 'tad' larger than ours... NICE!
