Suddenly, Firefox won't open a website forum.....but will open in a private window. WTF?? ( And yes, it opens fine in other browsers.)

I found this but not sure if it is the right path to explore. The 'Table of Contents' here has multiple suggestions but the quoted text sounds like it might be something to look into. Websites don't load - troubleshoot and fix error messages

Thanks....I type in the address and nothing happens, so there is n0 lock button.

Tried the rest....will restart and see if any of it worked.

    Nope. No go.

Since it works in a private window and not the regular window I would start disabling add-ons to see if one has gone buggy.

Disabled all add-ons and extensions....still no go. Also can't ping it. But still opens in a private window....:(

I read somewhere that someone "fixed" a similar issue by creating a bookmark and using that to enter the website.

I'll try on my end if you want to PM me the link or something. I'm kind of stumped though.

    The problem is with Firefox.
I had no problem with Dolphin browser which is outdated.
    Try resetting Firefox.

Man I hear you. I can set and help someone online for hours but half of the time the smallest glitch with my own computer and my brain turns to mush.
