Firefox crashes

Everything on our computer works great, except our Firefox suddenly started crashing unrecoverable, and wants to send a report of the issue then will not launch. We can only use IE now, dang! I have tried going to a previous restore point, and I have done a thorough scan with malware bytes and AVG, and have tried completely removing Firefox with Revo Uninstaller, then reinstalled Firefox, same issue. I am stumped, any help appreciated.

 

Close all sessions of FF. Then - Start>>All Programs>>Mozilla FF>>Launch FF safe mode.
Check *Disable all add-ons*.
Click *Make Changes and Restart*
Does FF still crash? If not - start enabling each add-on manually one by one with a FF restart each time. Test FF for stability each instance.

Thanks for reply, but I have tried that and when I cluck on start FF in safe mode, I get the same error message, "FF has had a problme and crashed..."

Try making a new profile for FF

Don't delete the older profile, as your passwords and bookmarks and extensions will get deleted as well!
If the new profile works out you can then transfer the bookmarks to this profile and delete the older one.

I am unable to launch FF to create a profile. FF will not launch to do anything. In my efforts I've already deleted bookmarks preferences etc. So this is not a concern,

 

Ok so you decided to go for a clean install with no back ups.
For setting up a new profile you don't need to launch FF.
Any way just uninstall FF again and check if the profile is still there. If its their delete it as well as.
