Firefox downloads but won't pull up

Downloaded firefox on new wallyworld Compaq Presario CQ56 and it downloads/runs as admin, but nothing seen on monitor...Never had this problem before...Run CCleaner and says, "shutdown firefox to continue"....Thanks in advance....WhiteWolfPS: PaleMoon works fine....Been useing it two weeks....any suggestions????

 

Have you tried Firefox with no plugins or extensions?

Does Internet Explorer work or not?

And, what operating system and service pack # are you using?

 

Yes, Internet Explorer works And my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and I guess with no Service Pack....

 

Try Firefox Safe Mode (image below), let us know if that works.

Ok, reinstalled it and works in both safe and regular mode....However, I did buy PC Tools registry mechanic and ran it since I've been messin with Firefox...PaleMoon worked so well, I uninstalled FireFox and never reinstalled it in about a week....Thanks MG's...Love this site
