Firefox freezes, Combofix won't run

Hi! My problem started tonight when my google chrome started crashing because of a flash plug-in. I did my research but nothing worked so I decided to uninstall google chrome. Firefox works okay now (it was crashing before as well). My exes files weren't running and I found a fix online and i reinstalled my flash player and the plugins. I downloaded combo fix but the EXE file WONT open so I cannot install it. I'm doing a full scan on superantispyware right now!! I tried going on safe mode but my computer keeps turning off and I'm scared that If i try again it will burn or something.

Please help me! I'm worried here, this is the only computer I have for college. Please help.
